About Mia
Born and raised in New York, Mia Blitz is a now Austin-based performer and movement artist with over 15 years of industry experience across both concert and commercial dance. Growing up in the competitive dance realm, she had an eclectic education in ballet, modern, contemporary, lyrical, jazz, hip-hop, musical theater and tap. She attended Fiorello H. LaGuardia Arts High School while also training in a variety of styles at Kanyok Arts Initiative. Mia graduated with her Bachelor of Fine Arts in Dance from the University of Texas at Austin in 2025 and is currently teaching, doing freelance work, and performing with ATMA Moves.
Mia most recently modeled and performed for the launch of NikeSKIMS in fall 2025. She has worked with numerous prestigious choreographers throughout her time at LaGuardia and UT Austin, including Marinda Davis, Tyler Hanes, Jennifer Archibald and Darrell Grand Moultrie. Her career is currently concentrated in performance, as she enjoys using her artistry and technical proficiency to execute repertory and act as a vessel for choreographers. In the future, Mia would love to pursue a performance career on Broadway, tour with an artist, or travel with a modern dance company.
