Foster Talent is an Austin-based talent agency created to connect, represent, and grow the city’s creative community.
Austin is home to an incredible pool of dancers, choreographers, performers, and creatives, but finding the right people, opportunities, and connections can often feel fragmented. Foster Talent was created to bring those pieces together—to create a place where artists can be discovered, opportunities can be shared, and creative relationships can grow.
At its heart, Foster Talent is about people and possibility. We represent talented artists while connecting them with brands, productions, filmmakers, choreographers, events, and other creatives looking to bring their ideas to life. But representation is only part of what we do. We want to help expand the network around Austin’s creative community and create more opportunities for artists to work, collaborate, and be seen.
Our goal is to build something that feels bigger than an agency: a connected, evolving community where artists can find opportunities and the people creating those opportunities can find the talent to make them happen.
Foster Talent was founded by Ella Foster Gross, a dancer, filmmaker, and creative who has spent years immersed in Austin’s dance community. After experiencing firsthand both the depth of talent in the city and the challenges that can come with finding the right opportunities and connections, she saw an opportunity to build something that could bring the community closer together.
Foster Talent is here to open doors, make connections, and create more room for artists to move.
A WORD FROM OUR FOUNDER
My name is Ella Foster Gross, and I’m the founder of Foster Talent.
Foster Talent was born out of a need I saw firsthand: Austin is full of incredibly talented dancers and creatives, yet there has never been a dedicated agency built to represent, develop, and advocate for these artists within the city’s growing creative industry.
As a dancer and creative myself, I know how much talent exists here—and how difficult it can be to know where to find the right opportunities, build meaningful industry relationships, and have someone in your corner who understands both the artist and the business.
I created Foster Talent to change that.
Foster Talent is the first talent agency in Austin dedicated to representing dancers and creatives. Our goal is to connect exceptional artists with opportunities that allow them to grow, create, and build sustainable careers while helping brands, productions, and creative teams find the talent they need.
I believe Austin has the potential to become a major creative hub for dance and entertainment. Foster Talent exists to help build that future—one artist, one opportunity, and one collaboration at a time.
