Privacy Policy

This policy explains what information Foster Talent (“we”, “us”) collects through fostertalentatx.com, how we use it, and the choices you have. It works alongside our Terms & Conditions.
1. What we collect
When you apply for representation: your name, email, phone, location, gender, height, social handles, roles and dance styles, experience level, bio, credits, training, awards, special skills, and links to your headshot, full-body photo, reel, résumé, and other work.
When you request a booking: your name, organization, email, purpose of the hire, dates, the dancers you’re interested in, project needs, and compensation details.
When you browse: we use PostHog analytics to count page views and form submissions. This records things like the pages you visit, your browser and device type, the referring site, and an approximate location based on your IP address. PostHog stores a cookie or browser-storage identifier so repeat visits can be counted. We don’t send the contents of your form to analytics.
When you email us, we keep that correspondence.
2. How we use it
- To review applications and decide on representation.
- To promote talent we represent and present them to clients.
- To respond to booking requests, coordinate bookings, and handle payments.
- To send you a copy of what you submitted and follow up with you.
- To understand how the site is used and improve it.
- To keep the site secure, prevent spam, and meet legal obligations.
3. Talent profiles
If you become represented talent, we display your name, approved bio, résumé details, headshots, full-body photos, and reels on this site and share them with prospective clients, as agreed in your Talent Representation Agreement. We publish only materials you’ve supplied or approved. When representation ends, we remove your profile from the site within a reasonable time.
4. Who we share it with
We don’t sell or rent your personal information. We share it only:
- With clients, when presenting talent for a booking or coordinating a confirmed one.
- With service providers who run the site for us: Vercel (hosting), Supabase (database), Resend (email delivery), and PostHog (analytics). They process data on our behalf and only as needed to provide their service.
- When required by law, or to protect the safety and rights of talent, clients, or Foster Talent.
These providers may store data in the United States.
5. How long we keep it
We keep applications and booking requests for as long as they’re useful for representation and booking, and booking and payment records for as long as needed for tax and accounting. You can ask us to delete your information at any time (see below); some records may need to be kept where the law requires it.
6. Your choices
- Ask to see, correct, or delete the information we hold about you by emailing ella@fostertalentatx.com.
- Ask us to take down or update your talent profile at any time.
- Block or clear cookies in your browser, or use a browser setting or extension that blocks analytics. The site still works without them.
7. Minors
This site isn’t meant for children under 13, and we don’t knowingly collect their information. Talent aged 13 to 17 may apply only with the involvement and consent of a parent or legal guardian. If you think a child has sent us information without that consent, contact us and we’ll delete it.
8. Security
We use reputable providers and limit access to submitted information to the Foster Talent team. No online service is perfectly secure, so please don’t send us sensitive information such as ID or bank details through the site forms.
9. Changes
We may update this policy as the site or our practices change. The date at the top shows the latest version.
